SLOW

SLOW RANGE

GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO TAKE IT SLOW

Slow Wine is about taking time out to enjoy a great bottle of wine with people you like. Life is often defined by the in between when

you’re not really  “doing something” moments. Slow Wine is a collaboration between friends from the Groenland Mountain region

in the Western Cape of South Africa. Here, life continues as it has for many decades, governed by the natural pace of the seasons.

Slow Wine is an exercise in patience and quality. From pruning to harvesting and winemaking, every step defines the wine’s capacity

to shine. The process is measured and managed. All in good time. That’s how we make Slow Wine.

VILLIERSDORP WINERY RANGE

VILLIERSDORP WINERY RANGE

The Winery Range expresses the boldness with which the winery embraces change, while still honouring tradition. Less laissez-faire than Slow Wine but more accessible than the premium Heritage Range, the Winery Range is our sensible middle child. What you see is what you get. Confident, dependable wines without pretensions.

HERITAGE RANGE

1922

The Villiersdorp Moskonfyt en Vrugtekoöperasie Beperk was established in 1922 and over the past almost century, it has undergone many transformations. As an extension of this fruit cooperative, Villiersdorp Winery is one of the oldest production cellars in the country. We honour our humble beginnings as a maker of moskonfyt with our elegant Mosko white blend. We celebrate the new life that springs forth with Kiara, an elegant red blend dedicated to the first-born of our winemaker, Christo Versfeld. With Final Straw, our premium Chenin Blanc dessert wine, we end by going back to the beginning – our roots in this valley of splendour.
