Slowine Rosé 2017
Cheerful in colour and character, this dry wine is balanced and refreshing plus a great pair to roasted farm tomato soup, lamb bredie (stew) or even a light Malay curry.
The grapes were given a limited amount of skin contact time to ensure just the right amount of colour extraction. The grapes were gently pressed, the juice settled and thereafter racked to the fermentation tank. The wine was fermented with a selected yeast strain, stabilized and bottled.
Bright salmon pink in colour, with the fragrance of ripe strawberries and some black cherries in support. A tasty, harmonious and invigorating wine with the sugar and acids in great balance for lingering pleasure.
Great for light and fresh foods like roasted tomato soup, baba ghanoush and grilled salmon – also try with Moroccan lamb tajine or Cape Malay curries.
